Pupils from Corpus Christi Catholic Primary School have teamed up to complete a fundraiser for Emmaus Leeds.

On Friday 13 April, Gina, Peter and Donald visited the school to hear about their fundraising efforts and receive a cheque. Corpus Christi Catholic Primary School’s year 6 pupils held a 30 minute sponsored silence and raised an impressive £300 to support our work.

Gina Morrison, Retail and Operations Manager at Emmaus Leeds, said: “Very well done and massive thanks to all who took part in the sponsored silence. All of us at Emmaus Leeds are very grateful to the pupils at Corpus Christi and all the staff who helped to organise the event. We look forward to working with the school on other initiatives in support of Emmaus Leeds.”

Emmaus Leeds supports 26 formerly homeless people by providing them with a stable home and meaningful work for as long as they need it.
