The Emmaus Deepdale Superstore is now open with Covid-19 safety measures in place.
The oldest Emmaus Preston charity store, located next to our community building, houses an eclectic mix of bargain second-hand furniture, soft furnishings, clothes, books, music, DVDs, computer games and bric-a-brac.
Within our Emmaus Preston Deepdale Superstore you will find a selection of settees, chairs, lounge furniture, beds, bedroom furniture, storage solutions and side tables. We also stock women’s, men’s and kid’s clothes, small electrical items such as lamps and TVs, mirrors, artwork and picture frames.
Our Superstore is located just off Ribbleton Lane, in front of a large church. We have an on-site customer car-park and offer a delivery service for larger items purchased from the store.
All the money generated at the Emmaus Preston Deepdale Superstore is used to support our community of 26 formerly homeless people. Visit us today or donate items to the Emmaus Preston social enterprise.
To ensure the safety of our team and all visitors, we have carried out a risk assessment for reopening and put in place measures to minimise the risk of virus transmission. Firstly, if you are showing any coronavirus symptoms or feel unwell in any way, please do not visit our charity store.
To ensure that physical distancing rules are maintained, our team will be monitoring the number of people within our store. We are limiting the amount of people in store at any one time so you may be required to queue prior to entry. If you are visiting as a family, please stick together and ensure that your child or children stay close at all times.
Everyone is required to wear a face covering and sanitise their hands on entry at our sanitiser stations. Please handle items as infrequently as possibly, especially those you do not intend to buy. Stick to the directional arrows around the store and ensure that you maintain at least a 2 metre distance from others at all times. When purchasing items, we are now only accepting card and contactless payments – no cash. Delivery service will be available for larger purchases but some new controls will apply.
