Volunteering is a great way to learn new skills and meet new people at the same time as helping your local community and supporting the Emmaus ethos.
At Emmaus Village Carlton our volunteers work alongside our companions and staff, sharing activities and responsibilities and helping to build our social enterprise together.
All our volunteers receive a special 20% discount in our three on-site shops.
We always welcome support with:
Helping to sort, merchandise and price items in our shops (Home Store, Boutique and Bric a Brac)
eBay selling
Gardeners
Customer service and Administration
Drivers
Upcycling of furniture
Bistro assistance
PAT testing
We are currently really in need of individuals that can drive, who have experience of ebay sales, customer service and volunteers to work in our bistro.
The list is endless and there’s bound to be something you will enjoy! All ages and abilities are welcome – we have something for everyone.
